Règlement Trail en Côte-Rôtie 2026
Preliminary
The pedestrian event, the subject of these regulations, is prohibited to all wheeled vehicles, except those of the organization or accepted by it, and to animals.
1. Place, date and nature of the competition
On October 18, 2025, starting from Avenue du Château in Ampuis (69420), the various events offered as part of this event are as follows:

2. Organizer
The event is organized by the Ampuis Sports Outdoor association, whose head office is located at Mairie d’Ampuis, 11 boulevard des Allées, 69420 Ampuis, trailencoterotie@ampuis.com.

In accordance with article 231-2-1 of the sports code, participation in one of the 3 trails is subject to the obligatory presentation of:
or an electronic certificate number indicating that the person has completed the Health Prevention Course (or PPS) set up by the FFA via its dedicated platform and the conditions of use of which are established by the latter. To be valid, the PPS must have been completed a maximum of 3 months before the date of the event.
Foreign athletes, even those licensed by a federation affiliated with the IAAF, must provide their PPS certificate number.
Proof must be attached when registering online or submitted to your space by the runner no later than September 28, 2025 for validation. To limit the unnecessary printouts and invalid documents, no documents will be accepted on site when collecting bibs.

There will be no on-site registration for the trails on the day of the event and each is limited to a maximum of 500 participants.
The services included are: a souvenir, refreshments on the course and at the finish.
For hikes, a €2 surcharge will be applied for all on-site registrations.

d) Closing of registrations
La clôture des inscriptions par internet est fixée au 27/09/2026 à 23h59 pour l’ensemble des épreuves. Sur place, les seules possibilité d’inscription seront pour les randonnées (à partir de 8h30 et jusqu’à 11h30) et pour les courses enfants avant 16h00.
e) Disabled athletes
Malheureusement la typologie des parcours ne nous permet pas l’accueil des athlètes en fauteuil, mais vous pouvez nous contacter pour toute autre forme de handicap.
f) Minors
Minor athletes wishing to participate in children's races must be in possession of a parental authorization to participate and a medical questionnaire to be completed upon registration online or on site. The organizer's responsibility ends upon arrival of each race, it is therefore the responsibility of parents or guardians to be present at that time to prendre en charge leur(s) enfant(s).
g) Bib number
The athlete must visibly wear, in his entirety and during the entire competition, a bib provided by the organization on the front of the body, under penalty of disqualification.
h) Mandatory and safety equipment
For all trails, a charged phone, a survival blanket, a headlamp and a reusable glass or container are mandatory.
This equipment may be checked by the organization and its absence may result in disqualification.
Due to the relative autonomy on the routes, we recommend that everyone have a minimum solid and liquid reserve and adapt their equipment to the weather conditions.

j) Acceptance of these regulations
The competitor accepts these regulations without reservation. He acknowledges that he is fully aware of the difficulties of the course he has registered for and undertakes to have the minimum physical condition to avoid putting himself in danger.
4. Transfer of bib number
En cas d’indisponibilité, les participants auront la possibilité de revendre leur dossard à un tiers via une plateforme officielle, dédiée et sécurisée jusqu’au 27 septembre 2026 à 23h59.
Une fois la transaction validée, le participant initial recevra le remboursement de 80% du montant de son dossard, hors frais de réservation. Dès lors, il ne sera plus considéré comme inscrit et ne pourra plus participer à l’événement.
Seuls les dossards vendus sur les 46km(solo, duo, relais)/25km/13km seront éligibles à la revente (les invitations ne peuvent pas être revendues).
Tout engagement est personneI et nous rappelons qu’aucun échange, aucun transfert, aucune revente de dossard n’est autorisé en direct pour quelque motif que ce soit. Toutes les transactions de dossards doivent s’effectuer sur la plateforme dédiée dans les dates imparties.
Toute personne rétrocédant son dossard à une tierce personne sans avoir respecté la procédure définie précédemment, sera reconnue responsabIe en cas d’accident survenu ou provoqué par cette dernière durant I’épreuve. Toute personne disposant d’un dossard acquis en infraction avec Ie présent règIement pourra être disquaIifiée.
L’organisation se dégage de toutes responsabilités, notamment en cas d’accident, liées à des transactions frauduleuses de dossards. En cas de doute, contactez nous.
5. Insurance
a) Civil liability
The liability of the organizer and participants is covered by the Associa-plus 78851414 insurance policy taken out with Abeille Assurances.
b) Personal injury insurance
Unless they have opted out, FFA-licensed athletes are covered by personal injury insurance. Other athletes are strongly advised to take out personal insurance covering bodily injury to which their sporting activities may expose them.
6. Sporting Rules
The competition takes place according to the sporting rules of the FFA.
a) Jury
The jury is composed of the race organizers. Their decisions are final.
b) Assistance to competitors
Any outside assistance, including resupply outside the zone, is prohibited and disqualifying.
c) Followers
No followers are accepted, under penalty of disqualification.
d) Sticks
The use of telescopic or non-telescopic poles is authorized after the 1st km.
e) Assistance
No assistance is allowed.
f) Time limits

After these deadlines, competitors will be considered out of the race, will have to hand in their race number and may possibly continue under their sole responsibility, in compliance with the provisions of the Highway Code.
g) Timing
Timing is provided by electronic transducers integrated into the bib. Wearing a transducer that does not match the wearer's identity will result in the competitor's disqualification.

A live and final results will be published at the finish line and on the event website.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, participants may object to the publication of their results on these sites for legitimate reasons.
8. Supplies
For the 3 trails:
The organization being committed to an eco-responsible approach aimed at limiting waste production, There will be no cups at the refreshment points and it is therefore the runner's responsibility to have a suitable container. In the same effort to limit plastic waste, the organization offers fountain-type water stations.
9. Safety and care
a) Routes used
The competition takes place partly on roads open to traffic, competitors will have to imperatively use the indicated side of the road; on the sections of road, the code of the road must be respected.
The routes also partly follow tracks and paths in the middle of the vineyards of the Côte-Rôtie name; competitors must follow the route directions under penalty of disqualification.
b) Safety of competitors
Safety at the event is ensured by a team of professional first aiders and volunteer marshals located at road crossings. Any participant who disrespects these people and who allows the organization of the event will be disqualified.
c) Mutual assistance between competitors
All competitors are required to notify emergency services (number on bibs) and assistance in the event of an accident involving another competitor, while waiting for them to arrive.
d) Recovery stands
Recovery stands with physiotherapists and podiatrists are planned upon arrival.
10. Environmental protection
Any abandonment of equipment or throwing of waste outside the designated areas will result in the disqualification of the offending competitor. Similarly, as the courses mainly run through private property and vineyards, any damage to or removal of equipment and crops will result in disqualification and the filing of a complaint.
11. Right to image
By participating, the competitor waives all personal rights to their image and authorizes the organizer, its beneficiaries and partners to use it on any medium, for a period of 2 years, worldwide.
12. Force majeure
In the event of force majeure, the organizer may terminate the event at any time. Participants will be notified by all possible means, they will then have to comply strictly to the organization's guidelines. Failure to comply with these instructions will de facto result in, The end of the organizer's liability. The participant may not claim any reimbursement, nor any compensation in this regard.
13. Cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event either at the request of the administrative authority or in the event of force majeure. No compensation may be paid in this regard.
Participants will be offered the option to carry over their registration fees to the following year.
14. Health Protocol
